SMSora has a simple promise: if your number does not receive an SMS, you do not pay. Everything below follows from that.
| What happened | What you pay |
|---|---|
| Number received no SMS and the 20-minute window ended | Full automatic refund. The held amount returns to your wallet by itself — no ticket needed. |
| You cancelled the number after the first 3 minutes, before any SMS arrived | Full refund to your wallet, instantly. |
| Number received its first OTP | The held amount is charged. The activation was successful. No refund. |
| OTP received but it is wrong or expired on the target platform | No automatic refund — the SMS was genuinely delivered. You can request one more code with Next SMS (up to 3) or let it expire. Persistent delivery failures for a service: message support, we will look at the route. |
| Number never appeared, or a technical fault on our side | Nothing is charged; if a hold got stuck it is released automatically. If not, support refunds it immediately. |
| Cancel attempted during the first 3 minutes | Cancellation is locked in this window to protect supplier costs. Wait for minute 4, then cancel for a full refund — or simply let it expire for the same result. |
Upstream suppliers charge for numbers that get used. The short lock keeps our prices (and your Orbit rates) low. After minute 3, cancelling is always allowed until an SMS arrives — and expiry always refunds automatically.
Wallet top-ups are added manually by our team after payment confirmation. Unused Orbit credit stays on your wallet indefinitely with no expiry. If a top-up was added by mistake or in the wrong amount, contact support before spending it and we will correct it.
We may refuse refunds where there is evidence of fraud, payment abuse, or violation of our Terms (for example, automated code reselling).
